1 Timothy 4:12 NIV

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but SET AN EXAMPLE FOR THE BELIEVERS in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

A BLUEPRINT is the image used as the chief model or example by which something is formed.  It is the outlined picture of how the final product should look.  As believers, Jesus Christ is our eternal blueprint!  He is the complete example of what it means to be committed to God.  As we follow the chief example, or “The BLUEPRINT” called Christ, a right relationship with God is formed.

What’s exciting is that 1 Timothy 4:12 encourages young people to set an example for all believers in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity.  In essence, as young people follow “THE BLUEPRINT” of Christ, they have also been called to be “A BLUEPRINT” for Christ.
